At STONEFIRE Grill, we strive to provide exceptional experiences to each of our guests. We’d love to hear about anything we do extraordinarily well, issues needing immediate attention and everything in between!
PLEASE make your nutritional numbers available online. I know many of the selections are really healthy and low fat, but we need to be able to manage our calories and fat. THANK YOU!
Hi Shelly, you’re right! Many of our menu items are certainly healthy options and excellent choices for those trying to manage calories and fat. At the moment, we don’t have this information available, but it’s an analysis we’re researching and hope to have available to you and the rest of our valued guests in the near future. Thanks for your feedback!
Love the restaurant and go all the time. Would REALLY like to see whole wheat wraps offered. I think it would bring in additional business. Many people like wraps but will go elsewhere because whole wheat isn’t offered at Stonefire. Please consider it!
That’s exactly the kind of feedback we like to hear, Andy. We love that guests like you care enough to go out of their way to make great suggestions. Thanks for your continued support, and we’ll keep you posted on the whole wheat tortillas!
I was just reading an article in our local paper about how the Stonefire Grill promotes Canadian Beef. As a Canadian beef producer I just wanted to thank you for your support and whenever myself or my friends and business associates visit California I will make sure that I tell them to check out your great restaurant. Your menu looks absolutely yummy!!
I also enjoy eating at Stonefire, but I would like to know how many calories and fat are in what I’m ordering so that I can make informed decisions. It appears from previous posted comments and also when you do a search for your nutritional information on the internet that other people want to know this also. It kind of seems that you are trying to hide something when you don’t publish your nutritional information. Reminds me of your competition… California Chicken Cafe, which claims to be healthy, but conveniently does not publish any nutritional information!
Nico, thanks for the feedback, but please realize that there are specific laws about nutritional information, not to mention the fact that it’s an analysis that we ourselves can not conduct. Rest assured that we’re not trying to hide anything. There is a high demand for this information, and we’re working toward having something ready within the coming months. Thanks for your patience and continued support!
We had Stonefire cater two of our events. Our clients and staff loved the food and several of the staff are using Stonefire for their Holiday meal. Keep up the great food.
My wife and I are regular customers at the Fallbrook store. We are probably there 2 or3 times a week. We enjoy a bowl of soup with our meal but we are seniors and we dont like spicy or the taste of tortillas.May we suggest instead or in addition Chicken Vegetable, Chicken Noodle, Chicken Gumbo, straight Vegetable, or Minnestrone.

As far as making your nutritional information public, you mentioned, back in August, that “we don’t have this information available, but it’s an analysis we’re researching and hope to have available to you and the rest of our valued guests in the near future.” Do you have an idea of when that will be? I know many people (especially those on Weight Watchers) that don’t eat at a place that doesn’t provide that information. It is essential to the eating plan. Please consider providing this information sooner, in consideration of your valued customers. Just knowing it is healthy just isn’t enough.
Yesterday was the first time trying out the food and I was very dissapointed. You read all these reviews and comments. What!!!!??? First of all, I had to idea this was somewhat like a Sizzler (wait to be seated and order your food then it will be brought to you), second when seated, you are to get all your utensils and plates, third the food was cold when brought out, and fourth we ordered lemon garlic whole chicken and it wasn’t even cooked all the way. I would have to say the food just wasn’t up to what the hype was all about. I ordered the garlic cheese mashed potatos and there was a chunk of not even melted cheese on top, the tri-tip which looked like it was not even cooked on the grill or open fire, and the bbq ribs tasted like it was cooked days before and just thrown on the fire for reheating. I don’t think I will eat there again. Different locations or not, once you try something yucky when try their other locations!
So sorry your first experience wasn’t the best, Anna. We truly pride ourselves on serving the freshest, finest products at extremely reasonable prices. I can assure you that everything is prepared on the spot. All of our meats are slow cooked overnight and finished over a live, mesquite burning fire or in our high heat broilers. As for the service, it is fast-casual, but this does not mean that we don’t strive to be extremely attentive each and every moment.
Again, I apologize for what sounds like an exception to the rule here at SFG. We hope that you’ll come back for another try, and we’re sure you’ll find that all of the reviews and comments that you’ve read are there for good reasons! Thanks for your feedback!
My husband and I absolutely love your restaurant. We even got you guys to cater our rehearsal dinner when we got married. We both agree that your food is amazing. However, we both know that if we want to continue to eat there we need to monitor what we eat for health reasons. We would hate to give up on you guys. Unfortunately, we can’t not do that without the nutritional value of your menu items. I’ve been waiting and waiting for some type of information based on calories per item but nothing. We keep getting a “SOON” but is there any idea of when or an approximate date of when this info will be ready??
Just waiting to get the final results from the nutritionist! Should be within the month. It will feature 8 items, but not the entire menu. This is something we’re doing for our valued guests, but as it stands with California state law right now, not something that is required. We’ll get to the entire menu soon enough! We look forward to seeing you and your husband again very soon.
You guys are absolutely amazing! Stonefire Grill provided Christmas Dinner for 300+ homeless women and children at Colette’s Children’s Home. Your generosity allowed our clients to have a wonderful dinner and spend time together as a family. This week, Stone Fire Grill contributed lunch for our affordable housing ground breaking ceremony. The food was oustanding, once again! Thank-you for all the wonderful work!
Your restaurants are fabulous-great, healthy food at a very reasonable price! Now it must be about time to open a new restaturant. I recommend strongly the location at Jeronimo and Alicia in Mission Viejo! The restaurant space used to be a Coco’s and then a Hunny’s-it has been vacant for a year or more now. I think the building could be reconfigured and be enormously successful as a new Stonefire!
We love to hear these kinds of recommendations from our guests, Jeff, so thank you! We’ll let you know where and when the next move will take place just as soon as we do. See you soon!
I’ve been a long time customer; we always refer to you as “Wildfires”. So having said that we of course love the food and everything else about the restaurant. Last night we took some friends to the Valencia “Stonefire” and it was then that we realized that you don’t offer the 1/2 chicken & 1/2 tri tip for 4 people any longer! So, after spending about $20 more than I should have we got what we wanted but I had to buy everything a la carte. Come on you guys! This was what you started out with! This is what put you on the map, so to speak. It makes NO sense that you took that off the menu, especially when you already have 1/2 chickens and 1/2 tri tips. Very disappointing!
Thanks for being with us from the start, Melinda! We’ve found, over time, that certain packages are more popular than others. With that being said, we still are proud of the exceptional value we provide to our guests and are pleased to offer numerous Family Meals and Crowd Pleasers that are both affordable and generously portioned. Please let us know if we can make some recommendations for next time, and we look forward to serving you soon. Thanks for the feedback.
I have just been to your establishment for lunch today and felt compelled to write a comment to give credit when it’s due. You have an employee there, Frankie, who does such a fantastic job. Personally, I don’t see a lot of great employees out and about these days and so when you run across someone doing a terrific job, it deserves a mention. She has such a great energetic presence. I have observed her patience with customers and her informative and helpful attitude. She is an EXCELLENT person to represent your business when customers walk in your door. It looks good on you!!
We’re almost there, Michelle! California law does not require restaurants of our size to have this information, but we recognize that valued guests like you really want to see it. We’ve just finished working with nutritionists, and the information should be available to us and everyone else within the next month. Thanks for your patience, and we can’t wait to see you again soon!
I miss the Poblano chicken wrap you guys used to have. It was my favorite thing on the menu and you got rid of it! I tried the Fiesta wrap and it doesn’t have as much flavor or as much heat as the Poblano one did.
Please bring the poblano chicken wrap back, Stonefire!!
Thanks for the feedback and suggestion, I will pass along your request to upper management. I know you have tried the fiesta but I also recommend our South of the Border wrap and maybe sub Roasted Poblano Ranch dressing instead? I hope this suggestions helps, thanks for your support and we look forward to serving you soon!
Worst experience at the Woodland Hills location, the Manager Matt was very rude and unprofessional…never returning to this location! THUMBS DOWN SERVICE!!
Correction from last post, it was West Hills location. The corporate people are just as bad, they defend their own emplyees and basically accuse you of being dishonest. The absolute worst service experience. Very disgusted by the treatment and lack of attention from the corporate office. Don’t bother giving feedback because they don’t care! Shame on you Stonefire!
@Marcia we hope that after speaking with a few people in our company that things are looking up. We’re truly sorry for your experience, and we greatly appreciate the feedback on all levels, as we’ll now use this to better our entire team. Please don’t hesitate to email us (feedback@stonefiregrill.com) if you’d like to continue the conversation.
My family & I decided to try out the Thousand Oaks location after hearing lots of positive feedback. And my husband’s company had lunch catered, and he said it was excellent. Our experience in the restaurant though was not good. The restaurant is SO noisy. You have to scream just to be heard by your own table mates. I left with a terrible headache. Perhaps it’s less noisy on a week day?
We ordered our food when we arrived, which was fine, but unexpected (I figured there was table service). We then had to find a table, and then get our own drinks and flatware. That’s also fine once you know the drill . Though it could be a pain if you have a couple of kids with you.
The food, which was mediocre at best, arrived piece meal. There were 2 adults and child in our party. All 3 meals came out separately with the kid’s meal arriving last. The last meal came out about 15 minutes after the 1st one arrived. I like to eat with my family. If one waits for all meals to arrive then someone will be eating cold food.
I ordered the a Greek salad, which was mostly red onion and radishes, there was very little feta cheese. I’m not sure how this salad could’ve been classified as a Greek salad. By the time I finished removing the radishes and onion there was only a 1/4 “salad” remaining in the bowl. It was a terrible salad.
The sandwich my husband had was fine, though nothing special, and the kid’s pizza was good.
We will not be dining in the restaurant again. Like I said, we like to eat as a family, and having the meals come out one at a time with large time intervals in between just isn’t our thing. We may try takeout at some point, but given the many other food choices in the area, it’s unlikely.
The server/ order taker made three mistakes, order in, take out, bbq chicken, something else. Greek salad v/s Ceasar. Not a good start.
For $13.00 and some change, I received the most falvorless mac and cheese I ever had, only to be made edible by a large amount of salt and pepper. The bbq chicken was equally flavorless and I guess was only labeled bbq chicken by the slight pink tint. The ceasar was good, not worth the 13$ tab.
We promise the positive feedback you heard about Stonefire is correct and we regret that you were not wowed on your first dine in experience with us.
At Stonefire we always strive for perfection, but we are not always perfect and it sounds like we were off that night. We are always happy to accommodate any request in that moment, by simply grabbing a friendly team member to assist you. We never want you to leave Stonefire feeling unhappy.
We appreciate your helpful feedback and I will relay your comments onto our Thousand Oaks management and staff and your feedback will used as we continually strive for perfection. We are hoping you will give Stonefire another chance, and if you do, we promise to wow you this next time around. If you have any questions or would like to discuss anything further, please email me at feedback@stonefiregrill.com, thank you!
I’m disappointed to read this, we hold ourselves to very high standards, and your feedback is crucial to this. May I follow up with you on the phone or by email? Please message me at feedback@stonefiregrill.com if you’re up for it. Thank you!
Hi! I follow a strict gluten free diet and was happy to find out that you have a gluten free menu in your restaurants. It would also be helpful if it was posted online. Thanks!
Thank you for the great feedback Ashley! We are happy that you have options to choose from on our menu, and a list of the gluten free menu items is available in the restaurant upon your request. I would be happy to email a copy of that list to you, please let me know if you are interested in a copy of that information. Thank you!
Stonefire Grill has some awesome mashed potatoes!! Yummm… maybe add more types of potatoes for potato lovers like me.
How about a regular BBQ chicken sandwich also, perhaps with bacon…MMMMMMM. Then people have a choice between a sandwich and a wrap! I would eat it!
Sounds like a good idea to us, John! What else would you add to it?
Thanks to my amazing Stonefire team for our beautiful new website. You guys ARE Stonefire…
PLEASE make your nutritional numbers available online. I know many of the selections are really healthy and low fat, but we need to be able to manage our calories and fat. THANK YOU!

Love your restaurant, but I need calorie and nutrition information if I continue to eat there.
Thanks, Sherry! It’s something we’re working on and hope to have for our guests in the future.
i heard you had the la salle cheerleaders visit your place last weekend i cant find the photo
We’re working on tracking that photo down for you! Are you a part of the La Salle family?
Ordered lunch for 40 people (first time order along with first time tasters).
THEY LOVED IT! The food is sooooo good! It’s like a home cooked meal!!!!
Two thumbs up!
Thank you – Thank you!
I ordered lunch for 40 people today (first time order) along with first time tasters!
THEY LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!!!!
It’s like real home town cooking with class!
